Bar and Restaurant Waiter on River Cruise

All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with company Food & Beverage Safety Manual, standards of services, operative policies, HACCP/USPH guidelines, environmental and safety policies
In accordance with company philosophy of quality bar service standards, each employee conducts one self in a professional and courteous manner at all times. This consists of physical and verbal interactions with guests or fellow shipboard employees
Ensure the smooth running of his assigned working area, making sure that all tables are set as per company standards
Escort guest to the tables and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing high quality bar service, within corporate standards
Keep the working area tidy, clear used glasses, bottles and dishes from the tables
Answer to guest’s questions/complaints and apply effective complaint resolution
Establish and maintain effective communications with other bar personnel
Maintain a prominent level of visibility, with passengers, and other bar personnel

Previous experience as waiter
Working Level of English Language
Vaccinated or is willing to get vaccinated with approved by EMA vaccines (AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson)
Good communications skills with a positive, efficient and productive manner
Good knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Good knowledge of security/fire/safety regulations
Readiness for the middle of September 2021

Global Shipping company specialized in the Catering Services is looking for experienced Bar & Restaurant Waiters with Working Level of German language knowledge to join the modern River Cruise Vessel for the 4-6 months contract.
The offered salary is 1250 EUR Net per month (a Swiss contract is being provided).
Bar & Restaurant Waiters are responsible for food & beverage service and sales in the workstation that is assigned to him/her in the public bar or lounge as well as assisting in additional duties as requested by the ships management team.
Candidates without previous cruise ship experience can be also considered.
